Lightspace Technologies have completed the feasibility study of miniature accommodating multi-focal 3d image near-eye display architecture (project iG4000) for potential use in consumer-grade low-cost AR glasses.
Project iG4000 considers to use composite refractive light guide lenses with solid-state multi-focal image engine creating 2 to 4 visual focal planes.
Lightspace expects to license this patent-pending architecture to established Tier1 companies. Further details will be available under NDA.
A larger-scale demo is available now. iG4000 real scale (size) prototypes are planned to be built in Q2 2021.
