Lightspace Technologies has signed an agreement with the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia.
The agreement No. VP-PI-2020/39 is a part of “Support for the improvement of the technology transfer system” which is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
Strengthening industrial property rights is one of the measures supported by the program. As a result, Lightspace Technologies has filed four patent applications for inventions related to the development of the latest generation augmented reality displays:
- Near-eye display apparatus and method for displaying three-dimensional images;
- Image display system, method of operation of an image display system and image projection device;
- Volumetric display system and method of displaying three-dimensional image;
- Table-top volumetric display apparatus and method of displaying three-dimensional imagery.
The received support is a significant contribution to bringing new technologies to a practical demonstration stage and further commercialization.
The planned total cost of the project is 26 200 EUR, which includes 22 270 EUR co-financing covered by European Regional Development Fund and 3 930 EUR financed by Lightspace Technologies.
Saņemts grants patentu pieteikumu iesniegšanai
Lightspace Technologies parakstīja līgumu Nr. VP-PI-2020/39 ar Latvijas Investīciju un attīstības aģentūru. Līgums ir daļa no Eiropas Reģionālās attīstības fonda līdzfinansētā projekta “Atbalsts tehnoloģiju pārneses sistēmas pilnveidošanai”.
Rūpnieciskā īpašuma tiesību stiprināšana ir viens no programmas atbalsta pasākumiem. Tā rezultātā Lightspace Technologies ir iesnieguši četrus patentu pieteikumus izgudrojumiem, kas saistīti ar jaunākās paaudzes papildinātās realitātes displeju izstrādi:
- Tuvā attāluma displeja aparāts un trīsdimensiju attēlu attēlošanas metode;
- Attēlu displeja sistēma, attēlu displeja sistēmas darbības metode un attēlu projicēšanas ierīce;
- Volumetriskā displeja sistēma un metode trīsdimensiju attēla attēlošanai;
- Galda virsmas volumetriskā displeja aparāts un trīsdimensiju attēla attēlošanas metode.
Gūtais atbalsts ir nozīmīgs ieguldījums jauno tehnoloģiju ieviešanā – gan to praktiskā pielietojumā, gan turpmākā komercializācijā.
Projekta plānotās kopējās izmaksas ir 26 200 EUR, no kurām 22 270 EUR ir Eiropas Reģionālās attīstības fonda līdzfinansējums un 3 930 EUR finansē Lightspace Technologies.
